i know, i know...another rant about mitt and ryan...the antichrists in control of the house and senate...but riddle me this...is their chant, their knock, their screaming crescendo of high pitched tweaking voices...jobs...jobs...jobs...obama hasn't created enough...dropped the ball...well remember the jobs act he proposed...the one that would be funded by a tax on billionaires...not hundredaires or thousandaires or even millionnaires... but billionaires...people with so much money that if you stacked it on their chest...the sheer efficacy  would crush them like tiny beetles under foot!...not an entirely un attractive notion...yet ...no they blocked that bill...keep the billionaires happy...big oil wants to drill in the artic national park...go ahead...doesn't matter that the oil will go to china...the largest consumer nation on the planet...run a pipeline from Canada thru the midwest.s largest fresh water reserves...go ahead...make a buck...enact a law prohibiting laws to protect the environment until the employment rate dips below 6%...really...generational decisions made by window lickers that your grandkids will have the honor of ingurgitating..forever...ryan enacted a law in his neck of the woods that made women prove they fought back to get a post rape abortion...what the fuck is that...so...hate obama...love obama...ron paul...or even "magic jammies" romney...but realize while we watch football or american idol...skype porn or work out our collective abs...this group has slowly, silently sold all of us to the lowest bidder...vote each and every one of them out...require a basic 6th grade civics test as a pre-election requirement...make them turn in their televisions and tax with excess any profit they make from PUBLIC service...and maybe ...just maybe we won't have to overthrow this government by force...oh and for my rightist friends that have beeen screaming about doing just that...i'm taliking about liberals with morals doing it...it will be smarter and much more violent!

As I age, i find that I am far less accepting of life's little faux pas.  I am surly.  I growl. Today is your memorial service.  Today your friends gather at historic Gracie's to tell tales, laugh and drink to your memory.  I worked for Gracie, thanks to you, sneaky Pete and Steve.  Its fitting, a legendary spot, to pay tribute to the man that inspired me and unknown others to go chase our dreams.  I loved when we cooked together and I found my passion, standing next to you.  You shared your love and unfathomably incredible knowledge of music with me.  I found Jason Ricci, Eric Lindell, Los Lobos and David Migden in our "MO, wait till you hear this moments".  I endured your love of all things Zappa and I survived Zappa torture.  To those unfamiliar with this, it involved the can, copious amounts of inhaleables and song after song of your archives.
