It is amazing that a pig can stand so long on her back legs

the "palinism" of America... no one is safe from the vast, hypnotizing effect that the idiot witch of the north commands over the legion of "stupid and willing"...and lets get this straight ...i hate "dancing with the stars"...it is the train wreck reality tv has created in america...the whole concept is contrary to my opinion of talent and entertainment...that being said...i have been sucked in this year...how you might ask??? ...well i read in a blog that the "palinites" had joined hands in a huge "short bus" electoral storm to see that sarah's porcine progeny go all the way and win this testament to american foppery...it is comical if not tearful to watch this poor "piglet" clop around the floor dragging her professional partner around like a tiny pull toy...no marveling throws here...that would require herculean strength...nope just clopping...but regardless of her ability or lack thereof...she continues to win...and move forward...the judges are left speechless..their co contestants look on slack jawed...as week after week...this pig defies logic and dances for prolonged time on her back legs...surely a world record... for little pigs...but what is worse...more frightening...is that these same people just changed the course of a nation...or maybe that's not surprising...maybe it is the next great american legacy...all hail the dancing pig and her mother

As I age, i find that I am far less accepting of life's little faux pas.  I am surly.  I growl. I snap at unsuspecting irritants.  I look in the mirror and see  what my life has pulled down on me.  Wrinkles, saddle bags, hair in very strange palaces.  I expect things...simple things to proceed as planned.  If my cellular bill, for example, is due on the 24th, I expect it to be taken out on that date. Today is your memorial service.  Today your friends gather at historic Gracie's to tell tales, laugh and drink to your memory.  I worked for Gracie, thanks to you, sneaky Pete and Steve.  Its fitting, a legendary spot, to pay tribute to the man that inspired me and unknown others to go chase our dreams.  I loved when we cooked together and I found my passion, standing next to you.  You shared your love and unfathomably incredible knowledge of music with me.  I found Jason Ricci, Eric Lindell, Los Lobos and David Migden in our "MO, wait till you hear this moments".  I endured your love of all things Zappa and I survived Zappa torture.  To those unfamiliar with this, it involved the can, copious amounts of inhaleables and song after song of your archives.
